Turtle Pool!

Jennifer loves her new turtle pool ... she had lots of fun splashing in the water and even liked dunking her whole face in the water!

Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day weekend! We just hung out and relaxed around the house ... and Jennifer stood up all on her own on Father's day! She always does new things with Daddy, I guess she feels more adventurous with him : ) She just stood right up from a seated position without holding on to anything! I wasn't quick enough to get a picture, but she's standing more and more so hopefully I'll get one soon!

Little Miss Independent

Jennifer decided this afternoon while having her snack that she didn't want me to hold her cup of milk any longer! She took it from me with both hands and drank it all by herself!! Of course, in true Jennifer form, after she was done she threw the cup onto the floor and it shattered ... I guess it's time to get some plastic cups for her!

Nana & Papa

Jennifer has had a great time with her Nana and Papa visiting!!

Fun in Phoenix!

Jennifer's Nana and PopPop flew in from North Carolina on Friday and today we drove to Phoenix to visit her Auntie Amber, Uncle Kevin, and cousins Dylan and Hayden. She had a lot of fun trying to keep up with the boys and going swimming!

More than she could handle...

Jennifer refused to lay down and take a nap this afternoon, so I brought her downstairs and gave her some blueberries and pasta ... apparently that did the trick! The only downside is that I couldn't wash her hands, so her fingers are stained purple now : ) Small price to pay!

A nice, long weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! Phil was off Friday - Monday, so we really got to relax ... we hung around the house Friday and Saturday, then it was off to Ikea Sunday and we spent all day Monday out and about. We got Jennifer a new carseat and she absolutely loved the box it came in! Who needs toys?!
