New play group!

I finally joined a mom's group here in Apex and Jennifer and I went to our first play date this week. She had a lot of fun with her new friends and I enjoyed meeting some new people too! The group we were a part of in Tucson was awesome so I'm really glad we finally joined a group here and hope we're able to make it to more play dates! Thanks Melissa for the super cute pictures!

We have been nothing but sick around here lately and it finally caught up with Jennifer. Fortunately she started feeling a little better after having ice cream, watching some Oswald and coloring!

Best Vacation Ever Part 3: Savannah

Our last stop was Savannah, Georgia. We decided on a whim to stop in Savannah on our way back to NC. Savannah was so pretty, we had a great time exploring!

Best Vacation Ever Part 2: Tampa

We continued our vacation in Tampa where Jennifer got to meet her cousins and Aunt Belinda and Uncle Gene (Phil got to meet them for the first time, too!) and spend lots of time with Great Granny! We went to the Tampa Bay Aquarium and had a lot of fun just hanging out! We're hoping they make a trip to the lake house this summer so we can see them again soon! It was hard to say good-bye.

Best Vacation Ever Part 1: Boca

We just got back last night from a wonderful vacation! We got to see so much family and Jennifer had a great time playing with all of her cousins, aunts, and uncles that she hasn't seen since she was a baby! Our first stop was Boca Raton for Ben's Bar Mitzvah! Ben did awesome and while I forgot to bring my camera to the party I'm hoping some of the pictures that were taken get passed on ; ) These are pics of everyone hanging out ... it was great to see everyone!! Hey Ben - don't you want to have another Bar Mitzvah again next year?!?

Jennifer's first sleepover!

Jennifer's friend Emma spent the night last night and the girls had so much fun!! It was Jennifer's first sleepover and when Emma left this morning Jennifer said "again!" They dressed up in princess dresses, cooked at Jennifer's kitchen, played in the tent, baked chocolate chip cookies, jumped on the bed and watched a little bit of Beauty and the Beast. This morning we all had pancakes and belgian waffles, played with Amae and watched some Oswald. It was a lot of fun and Jennifer can't wait to play with Emma again!
