Uncle Scott

Uncle Scotty is here to visit and brought Jennifer a super cute Carolina Hurricanes outfit! She's having a lot of fun with him!

Jennifer's first Thanksgiving!

We went to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and Jennifer was so interested in what everyone was doing that she only took one nap that lasted maybe 30 minutes! There was another little baby there who was only 3 days younger than Jen, so it was cute to see them together. We had a great Thanksgiving, and I cheated on my lactose-free diet and got to have dairy ... fortunately, since Jennifer decided she didn't want to have anything to do with a bottle, it didn't hurt her little tummy : )

She rolled over!!

Jennifer rolled over for the first time last night!! We got her actually rolling over on video, she was having a hard time because she kept getting stopped by the side of her gym, but she put her leg around it and used it as leverage to get herself all the way over ... she's so smart : )
(Yes, the cat got to the yoga mat and scratched it all up! I guess it's time for us to get something bigger for Jennifer to play on since she's becoming mobile)

Phil's Injury

There was a "terrorist attack" at Davis-Monthan and Tucson Swat had to rescue Phil from the gym and take him to Tucson Medical Center ... luckily he's a-ok : )

Ok, so the "terrorist attack" was a training exercise and this head injury is totally fake, but when Phil walked in the door looking like this I freaked out for a second! It looked so real!
Enough about that ... back to Jennifer ...

She loves her books

And, no, she's not hungry- she constantly chews on her hand and everywhere we go old ladies will smile at her and say "somebody's hungry!"

3 months old!

Jennifer was 3 months old yesterday! We took her to get pictures made and couldn't get her to smile in any of the shots! So, we brought her home and took some pictures while she was still dressed up ... because she always smiles for mom and dad : )

Sleeping Beauty

Jennifer takes her morning nap in her swing ... the perfect time for me to sneak in a shower. She looked so precious this morning I couldn't resist getting some pictures. I think these will look really good in black and white, too!

Birthday Brunch

My birthday isn't actually until tomorrow, but we decided to go to brunch at Armitage Wine Lounge this morning to celebrate! It was great, the weather was perfect and Jennifer was in a great mood! Phil and Jen got me a really pretty bezel set peridot drop necklace (Jennifer's birth stone), you can't see it in the pictures, but it's super pretty!

Halloween!

Showing off her kitty cat costume!

Curtis was a little but unsure of this clown, but he really wanted that balloon!

Pooped at the Harvest Festival!

"Mama, take me home, it's bedtime!"

We had a great Halloween, even if Jennifer was a bit on the cranky side - she got one of her vaccines that afternoon (I chose to break them up and give her only one vaccine at a time, which means three weeks of vaccines - one a week - but a lot less crazy medications in her system at one time). She was a little fussy and pretty tired all day and ended up going through 3 different Halloween outfits because of spitting up, but she got a lot of rest in the morning/early afternoon and we made it to the costume contest at my old office. Later in the evening, I put a bowl of candy out front and we went with our friend Julie and her boys Curtis and Christian to the Harvest Festival at the chapel here on base. It was really cute, they had a hay ride, a petting zoo, a little train, tons of games, popcorn, cotton candy, and boiled peanuts! And to top it off, it was nice and cool outside and the pastor spoke for a bit and he had a really strong southern accent ... made me feel like I was back in North Carolina!
