Fall is here

The weather is cooling down and it's starting to feel like fall! We hung out at the lake house last week and enjoyed the sunshine. This weekend we celebrated Jennifer's best friend's birthday at a pumpkin patch where we got to take a hay ride, a train ride, Jennifer took a pony ride, picked a pumpkin, and saw rabbits, goats and chickens! We had a great week last week and are super excited for the next two weeks - Phil is off work and we've got some fun things planned!

Too gorgeous to stay in-

The weather was so beautiful we just had to go to the park! Jennifer loves the castle and Zach got to try the swings for the very first time! It was fun times all around...

Pulling up!

Zach pulled up to standing for the first time last night! He's been trying for a while but had only made it up onto his knees ... I tried to get a picture, but wasn't fast enough. I have a feeling I'll have many more opportunities to catch him in action! (Please ignore the mess in these pictures, this is what happens when we try to keep the kids occupied while football is on) ;)

9 months old!!

Zachary was nine months old yesterday and he's one fast little baby! He's getting around quickly and is super sneaky about it- we look away for a second and he's on the other side of the room! He's also become a great eater- he loves feeding himself and is a little too good at taking off his bib. His favorite foods are broccoli and bananas, he also likes pasta, pears, sweet potatoes, and any kind of bread. He thinks his big sister is hilarious and tries really hard to keep up with her- and of course, no toy is as fun as the toy that big sister has!
