We visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum today. Phil's knee is still hurting him a lot, so he had to use a wheelchair! The museum was awesome, we all had a great time ... but Jennifer slept through the whole thing!
Going down the stairs instead of the ramp ... of course!

10 days 'til Halloween
First Giggle!
On Sunday, Jennifer giggled for the first time (while she was awake)!! It was so cute, Phil and I couldn't believe it! She has been giggling in her sleep since she was born, but Sunday was the first time we've heard her giggle while she was awake. It was so cute I had to take some pictures to document!
Another big milestone we noticed just yesterday was that she has started reaching out for objects. She was reaching out and grabbing at one of the toys on her swing! And, even though it was on accident, she reached up and spun the little ball that hangs down from her Rainforest Gym and made the music play! Phil and I were so impressed, she's a genious! : )

Buckelew Farms Pumpkin Patch
We went with some friends to the Buckelew Farms Pumpkin Patch this afternoon. We had a great time, even if it wasn't the east coast style trip to the pumpkin patch that I was expecting. I wanted us all to dress cute to take a family picture, but it was so hot that I ended up having to take Jennifer's overalls off and just let her wear a onesie... I can't wait to be back on the east coast where the weather gets cool and the leaves change color! This pumpkin patch was in the middle of the desert! (Yes, Nana and Gramma, she's wearing SPF 50!)

Playtime!
Jennifer has been getting really active! She likes playing on the floor with some of her toys. I lay her on my yoga mat with a blanket and it's perfect on our tile floor. She's getting better and better at holding her head up while she's on her tummy!
I tried to keep her from becoming a passie baby, but she fought me and won ... she loves her passie!
She played so hard that she fell asleep!

Our First Playdate!
Home Remedies
No more home remedies any time soon! I read in What to Expect the First Year that a little Vaseline rubbed onto a baby's scalp gets rid of cradle cap... it's also extremely hard to wash out! Vaseline was stuck in Jennifer's hair and it took me no less than 45 minutes to wash out, and I had to use Ivory dish soap!
