Pulling up

Now that Jennifer can pull up on the furniture, I forget to move things out of her reach! Her new favorite thing is grabbing anything she can off of the coffee table and throwing it on the floor! She also loves pulling up and standing at her activity table and toy basket ... I can't believe how mobile she is!

Little Movers and Shakers

She's such a lady ... the kids always gotta have her ankles crossed!

Jennifer and I go to a class at Udall Recreation Center Tuesday mornings called Little Movers and Shakers ... it's like a baby gymnastics class and she loves it!

It's official...

...she's a crawler!! Fortunately she's not super coordinated yet so she's pretty slow, and she hasn't ventured off the playmat ... but I'm sure that's right around the corner!

Jennifer's First Easter!

Jennifer has been enjoying her first Easter, and especially loved the basket that the Easter Bunny left for her : )

8 months old!!

She stood up in her crib all by herself! We have since lowered the mattress...

She's taking notes from her friend Yaira on how to cruise around the house with the help of the furniture!

Phil and I can't believe our baby is 8 months old today! Here are some of the things she can do ...
*say mama, mom, dada, dad, nana
*play peek-a-boo
*clap and dance
*rock on hands and knees
*slide herself wherever she wants to go on her tummy
*pull herself up to standing
*give kisses
*feed herself
*drink from a cup (with help)

Happy Passover!

Yesterday was Passover and while we didn't have a traditional Seder, I did make my first Matzo Ball Soup... I didn't realize how big the matzo would get while it cooked so it was a little matzo heavy! It turned out pretty good though, and Jennifer loved trying her first Matzo ball! L'Chaim!

making faces

Jennifer was making faces at me this afternoon from her pack and play as I was cleaning ... she was too funny not to take a break and grab the camera!

I'm so not ready for this!

Jennifer is getting closer and closer to figuring out how to crawl!!

Dancing

Jennifer has started "dancing" when she hears music! It really is too cute ... she starts wiggling her arms and gets a huge smile on her face. I also had to add the picture of her eating her play mat, one of her other new favorite things!
